Caviewer is a graphics viewer for Clipart images which you can also use for conventional images. Here are some of the main features of Caviewer:

It is an application that works very quickly, which offers thumbnails of each image (up to a size of 240x240 pixels keeping the proportions of the original). It lets you see the images in their natural size in a separate window, which lets you see more than one image this way, and compare them. You can also copy a natural sized image to the clipboard and paste it into another application.

Caviewer supports PNG, BMP, GIF and JPEG graphic formats. It also includes a large range of options for basic editing.
